how do i cook cod so its nice and soft and flaky????

ive got two fresh cod filletts that im about to cook, whats the best way?? TIA

You could try putting them in a dish of milk over a saucepan of boiling water - usually takes about 20 minutes. The milk can then go towards a sauce if you want it. I haven't done it that way for ages as I always use the microwave now. Enjoy.

Or wrapped in buttered foil and baked for 20/30mins in the oven. Yummy!

if doing it in milk add a bay leaf and about 6 peppercorns .. yummy

then save the milk and use it to make a white sauce .. you could have fish pie or cod in sauce over mash
