why will my egg whites not set and go peaky ....

im trying to make a pavlova but all i get is a thick creamy consistency it will not peak ,what am i doing wrong ???
who can give me a fall proof way of making this
please ...

Bit late - the bowl and the beater have to be totally dry when you start to beat the whites otherwise they don't peak...

Don't bother, this is the seventh thread on this she's posted, not sure if she's just having computer problems or if it's a troll. Inclined to be nice and think it's PC probs.

You need to add the sugar very slowly, shaking it gently from the spoon. Tip it all in as you normally would and it goes like you describe.
