looks like pasta and salad or eggs and beans doesn't it? Can anyone think of anything more impressive but equally easy which might convince dp I actually gave this more than 30 secs thought?

Have you got a tin of tomatoes or puree? - you could make vegetable pasta with cheese on top.

PAsta&pesto and cheese ontop. That's what I'm having, as I have no imagination (and I went shopping today too, so have loads in)

Gpod,even a boiled agg and toast is a damned fine meal.

why do you have to give it thought?

any food ready when DH comes home is I think a bonus rather than a right

you know .. we never have this .. but suddenly I'm salivating at the thought of

I want MINIMAL effort and maximum feet up

have left slightly late though

it's a bit crap though, I have had the whole day and ds was at nursery this am, and dp did LOADS over the bank holiday

I do like chip sandwiches with lots of vinegar

and fish finger sandwiches with tomato sauce

Boys have been to Butlins for day out with my M&D and have eaten shite all day.

They have returned with plastic crap and I have had the torture of having each child's every move, utterance and bowel movement recited to me (I am grateful - honestly).
