Will it do? (Oat biscuits)
Or can I not just use sr flour instead of plain?

I would jsut use SR flour..

I get confused with those and bicarb. Two of them are the same. Have a look on the ingredients, if its got baking soda in it, then bingo!

StealthPolarBear · 21/03/2008 15:01

it does but it s something to do with acidic ingredients
might risk the sr flour

I wouldn't have thought you would need oat biscuits to rise so I would go with the SR flour.

Do you combine baking powder with cream of tatar to make baking soda ??? ( or is it bicarb)

StealthPolarBear · 21/03/2008 19:23

other way round - bacing soda is sodium carbonate
combined with cot makes baking powder, my research has shown
Anyway, they were nice, not how they were intended to be, I don't think but i love them
