I've always kept mine in the fridge but am running out of space.

Some people keep their's in cupboards, I believe.

Don't your potatoes grow shoots more quickly?
Does your broccoli go off more quickly?
Do you keep things like peppers and courgettes in cupboards or do they need to go in teh fridge.

Someone come and tell me the rules.

Just before Christmas I was given some spuds and put them in cupboard under the stairs and forgot about them. In February I found them and they were still like new. This has completely changed my mind about keeping veg in the dark and now I do and they last forever.

Some in the fridge, some in the larder. I do think most of it benefits from being somewhere cool.

in the fridge here, but we do have a big american style jobbie so we have the room.

wish we had an old fashoined larder tho to keep them in, as I remember my nan having one and it was wonderful for storage like potatoes etc.

potatoes, carrots, swede, onions, etc go in the veg trolley. peppers, salady stuff goes in the fridge. we have a bog standard fridge freezer so there would be no room for everything in there
