Mine is from the Panasonic breadmaker recipe book . Dh made them last year and sheesh, they were like bullets, but I think he didn't let the dough prove properly.

I have a breadmaker.

I'd leave them out (they're not in the panasonic recipe either). If you've got raisins or mixed peel or whatever you're laughing.

I have raisins, currants and dried mixed fruit.

I may give it a try then.

I've made the dough for breakfast tomorrow but I just had to have one teeny bun for lunch. Dripping with butter -- phwoah. Couldn't be arsed to glaze it.
