I have eggs that have dates of display until 10 March and best before 17 March.

I want to make muffins with them - can I risk it?
Should I just crack 'em open and see if they smell?
(am 39 weeks pg if that makes a difference to these things)

TIA

i use eggs if a day out of date

i was told to test to see if egg is ok put in pan of col water if they float to top no good if sit at bottom ok

its something to do with the gases should be fine to use as when cooked anyway it kills bacteria and eggs last alot longer than you think but shops have to put sell by dates

my aunts chickens eggs last weeks
