Do you mean the one that was on BCLCook today?

Crispy Bricks

Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter
1 cup of mini marshmallows
2 cups puffed rice cereal
1 tablespoon butter
2 tablespoons sugar
1 tablespoon cocoa
2 teaspoons water

Method:
Ask a grown-up to melt the butter over a low heat and add the marshmallows.
Add the puffed rice and stir all the ingredients together.
Take a small spoon and pack the mixture into ice cube trays. Push the mixture down hard. Leave the bricks to go cold, then put them in the fridge so they set hard.
To make the icing, mix up the tablespoon of butter and the sugar until it goes creamy then add the cocoa powder and the water to make a smooth paste.
When the bricks have set, ask a grown-up to remove them from the ice-cube trays.
Use the chocolate icing mixture like cement to glue your bricks together.

Cut and pasted, so ignore the instruction to ask a grown up to do it for you

I don't understand what you do with these bricks! How many does it make? Do you build a wall or something?!

I've never heard of BCLC!

Ordinary ones

bag of pink & white large marshmallows
melt with 2-3 oz butter
stir in Rice Krispies until stiff
put in greased metal tin in fridge

Then melt chocolate (after child has gone home) and drizzle over top

fruitcake · 21/12/2004 21:33

RRICE KRISPIE SQUARES

4 tbs butter
4 cups/10 oz marshmallows
5 cups Rice Krispie cereal

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat. Add marshmallows and stir till melted. Cook 3 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove from heat, add Rice Krispies and stir till all are coated. (this is harder than it sounds but keep stirring). Using buttered spatula (or clean, buttered hands!) press evenly into buttered 13x9x2" pan. Cool. Cut into 2" squares.
