I am going to do big shop at the weekend and want to make some yummy easter delights.
Looking for :

Easter cookies
Nice Main
Looks Posh but easy pud !!
and any other family favourites please.

I Have offered to cook on the Easter Good Friday so need some help !!

Well I think Lamb is traditional at Easter, so why not the lovely tried and tested Lamb with rosemary and garlic?

My partners fathers is a bit anti-garlic. So maybe just lamb and rosemary, I have been a bit disappointed with shop lamb lately. The sainsburys organic was dire. I`ll nosey at Nigella website thanks for those suggestions.

If you mean cake nibbles, I would do cupcakes with choc butter icing and decorate with those little eggs and flakes to make a nest.

I think really nice flap jacks go well. Try Nigella online, because in her book Feast, she has a chapter about Easter

Primrose jelly is good Easter pudding.

nb primroses must be from your garden not wild it is illegal to pick wild primroses.

Also simnel cake is traditonal for easter. but you must be a marzipan fan.

Desserts.. doing Tiramisu with little white eggs ( easter theme. Primrose jelly looks enchanting and spring like ( where is the sun!) No wild primroses would be harmed.

Have told DP to buy me Feast as early pressie. One little bump for Main Ideas and starters.
