Cheese Pie

Dh has aked me to make him a cheese pie - do i use shortcrust pstry??

Never heard of cheese pie - but I'd probably start with ready roll puff pastry...

Does he mean cheese and potatoe pie?
mashed potatoe, onion and grated cheese?

There's a recipe for cheese pie in my Be-Ro Recipe book but it's at home and I'm at work. I think it uses shortcrust pastry. I'll check when I get home

Shortcrust pastry case filled with mashed potato, cheese and lighly sauteed onions then baked is v yummy.
