I fight a battle everday with my DD (22 mths) who only wants to eat biscuits. This started when she got a taste for them at Toddler Group who give them out with juice. At home I give in sometimes (for snacks only) but most days I'll just be saying 'no' 'no' 'NO' NOOOO MORE BISCUITS!!!!!' and she'll reluctantly go with just a lunch, fruit & a proper dinner.

Now, I eat proper food when I'm at home. But I could honestly live on sweets & biscuits, with an occaisional binge on vegetables as I sometimes crave them too.
I'm at work today and had gummy bears for a mid morning snack and for lunch I had half a packet of Duchy Originals Chocolate Ginger Biscuits. Nothing else. HEAVEN. I feel so naughty as I enjoy them so much and I'm not fat nor do I have bad teeth, yet I'm nearly always denying the nice foods to my DD.

I ate good healthy food and whatever else I wanted when i was pregnant so i don't think I passed her a sugar addiction! but it must be in the genes or something.

Make her food fun - the other night I made DD a pair of boobs out of mash and put tomoatoes on top - she thought this was fab

Well she hates mash & hates cherry tomatoes but that would definetly make her laugh! Her first word was Boobie.
I might try that for DP

I used to give my son dinners with names like a cowboy dinner. Which was pork loin chop barbecue sprinkle , jacket potato and sweetcorn. You could have a fairy feast or similar. I didn`t make him boobs to eat but it sounds fun.

I like to make a face with dinners like green beans for hair etc, even when there are no kids there (!) and have even been known to cut hearts out of toast when trying to get a smile.
