Hi, im ment to be cooking lamb chops but the lamb refuses to defrost. They have been on the side for about 1 1/2hr now and i just poped them on defrost for 1 min in the microwave, and washed them in cold water. Is there anything else i can do??
Luckly my mum said shes given DD dinner earlier.
Time just ran away with me (no kids in the house, been spring cleaning )
Any suggestions??

I would put them in the fridge to defrost overnight and use them tomorrow. Have a treat and get a take away tonight!

Just leave them in cold water or bang them on defrost in the nuke machine for a bit longer.

lamb chops you can cook from frozen, I normally do mine slow under the grill.

Cook from frozen are nicer - happened to us I told DH to cook lamb chops last week whlst I was at pilates but had gotten out braising steak so he cooked lamb from frozen and it was lovely - better than when it had been defrosted!
