Loads of Nuts

I have loads of nuts (assorted, in a bag) left over from Christmas, what can I do with them? I don't want to make a nut-loaf, but I'd quite like some cake-y recipes please. I can grind them to order.

can you make different kinds of nut butter. Think all you do is grind the nuts with a bit of salt and water

my ds1 likes peanut butter but won't eat nuts in any other form. The other 2 won't eat nuts, if they know about them.(snickers/marathons/topics... All mine!) So i thought if you can use ground almonds in cakes, you must be able to use other nuts in them too?
