honey and weaning

I know you can't give honey to the under 1s but can yiou use it as part of a recipe?

I have a recipe for bread that uses honey as the fuel for the yeast. Given that the bread it baked would this kill any possible bacteria?

as i said on ohter thread i found my 6 mth old dd eating honey out of a jar with a sppoon and she survived

its a tiny tiny risk

i would byt i dont know hte official advice

a quick google came up with this and apparently cooked honey has just as much risk
