Egg yolks

I want to start giving dd (10 months)egg, but want to introduce just yolks before giving her whites. Anyone have any good, simple recipe ideas that only use the yolk? And this is probably a stupid question, but what do scrambled eggs turn out like if you only use the yolk?

why not introduce the whole egg???

supposedly the egg white has the most potential allergens

personally I'd wait 2 months then give her the whole egg .. can't be faffed with that seperating eggs .. its not like it'll make much of a difference anyway

I just used to boil the egg, take out the cooked egg yolk and mash it and stir it into whatever veggies dd was getting. It works well with broccoli - makes it really creamy and yummy! Also dd liked just picking up the whole yolk and chewing on it - great finger food.

Think scrambling it might be odd - but then again the baby probably wouldn't know any different! I never actually tried it.

Thanks Pidge - I was thinking of separating them before cooking, but your way is much easier.
