Just being nosey and curious really.

Our shopping bill is regularly around £100 a week. There's me, DH, 12mo DS and two very hungry big kitties. Now, we do eat organic fruit & veg, meat & dairy and that does include the cat food, nappies and household stuff. Just wondering how others compare really?

I've tried to do online shops and it comes in at around the same.

I spend and average of £65 a week - that includes all my cleaning stuff, nappies, baby milk, toiletries etc etc.

Some weeks it's less, and then at the start of the month it's more when I do a big "bulk" shop - but it all averages out at £65 a week.

oh and it also includes H's various whims and fancies - I could (have done in the past) done it for around £50 a week,

I spend no more than £55 a week for 1 adult and 3 children.

This has been done to death, but here goes... 2 adluts, 3 children, 2 cats.. £130 per week, online from Sainsburys + top up of extras during the week.

That includes organic meat, dairy & some fruit & veg.

Ours come to an average of about £110 a week. This is for 2 adults and 3 DC, one of the DC eats as much as an adult! This also includes their pack lunches, evening meals, cleaning, washing products, toilet tissue etc etc

We are between £100 and £110 a week, but this does include nappies, wipes, household products, cat food and cat litter. We are 2 adults and 3 dcs. I just can't understand how people keep their shopping so low, full of admiration but HOW?

nickytwotimes · 03/03/2008 14:11

Me, dh and 19 mth old = £60-70 including nappies, cleaning stuff, etc. Maybe another 5-10 during the week for milk, bananas, etc.
