Fruit crumble - can anyone help me adapt a recipe?

I want to use a recipe for fruit crumble which uses 2 apples, 2 pears & raspberries. I've only got 1 pear - will this make a difference? Would it taste ok with just apples & raspberries?

thanks

just use an extra apple. It will taste lovely.

it would taste fine with just apples and raspberries - or you could put the one pear in and an extra apple.

It will be lovely whatever

thanks, I'm not used to going 'off-recipe' as you can probably tell

Glad you're not at mine to see me just lobbing whatever into my crumbles then . It'll be fine, extra apple, extra raspberries. It'll still taste yum.

rantinghousewife, that's what I aspire to

I did make it with 3 apples, 1 pear & a load of raspberries & it was delicious!

Have an extreme hankering for an apple and raspberry (with pear) crumble now. Ummm yum.

welcome to the darkside of cookery.. you have now broken the recipe boundry... you will never go back...

sounds lovely though... i don't normally make crumble.. tend to do more cakes and pies and muffins... and some nice upside down apple cake that is devine..

I chose the crumble as its quite quick to do & thought ds might enjoy mixing up the crumble part of it. It is the first one I've done in years though, I tend to do cakes and such!

That upside down apple cake sounds lovely!
