Hi guys... I'm using one of the new Schwartz real paste's for thai red chicken curry. I need to add some coconut milk. On the back of the paste it says add400g/14oz coconut milk. On the tin it says 400ml. Shall I put the whole tin in??!!
Sorry if i'm being very stupid I'm useless with measurements!!!

I would.

Personally I'd stick with the Schwartz recipe. They must know what's in their paste, but the coconut milk people wont necessarily.

sorry carla that doesnt sound like i meant it to .... i mean that the tin of milk is 400ml ... the recipe says to add 400g ........if that makes sense?!?!

14 x 28g = 392g whicch is close enough

28g = 1 oz (approx) but for ease use 25g = 1 oz (as its easier to add up)

oops I converted ozs to gs and you need ml to g

I think with a liquid 1ml = 1g

But if you have electronic scales but in jug zero then add coconut milk til you get to 400mls
