16 month old - refusing to eat solids

DH took DD away to see his parents - first time away from me and my cooking. She can be a strange eater from time to time, but while she was away, she wouldn't eat other than porridge for breakfast and a few spaghetti hoops (which I've never given her) - she reverted to being a milk monster!

Now she's back and I'm having trouble getting her to eat anything - she's OK with porridge but refused several types of lunch (usually favourites) and this evening meal and then starts to lose it big style until I give in and give her milk.

I know this is kind of defeatist, but I also know my daughter, once she's lost it, she won't eat anything anyway.....

Am getting really frustrated - any help please?

meant to say, keep walking away and doing my best to keep calm in between ducking from the food. Have also let her 'graze' as she walks but it's just not working since she got back on Monday...
