Is my mayonnaise ok?

I made homemade mayonnaise last Friday, following Delia's recipe. Had some left over, so followed her instructions to store it in a screw top jar in the fridge. Recipe says it'll be ok for up to a week, but dh is not convinced. Is there any way to tell if it's ok? Would you eat it? (obviously not if pg).

yes, I'd eat if it smelled/tasted ok.
Let a bit of it come to room temperature first as you can't always smell things when they're cold.

If the recipe says it's ok, I'd say it would be. They would usually stay on the safe side time wise as to avoid being sued or something! (like shop food). Smell it.

Well, I ate it, Dh didn't! I'm fine this morning. But there's still a bit left, and I'm not in tonight, so will have to think of a mayonnaise including meal for tomorrow!
