Boring recipe question from a dimwit cook

I have two large frozen boneless, skinless chicken breasts, a freezer full of frozen veg and I need to make something ultra tasty with it. None of us like eating chicken dry so if you have any sauce-y chicken ideas where I can use all this stuff, I would be very grateful.

Unfortunately, my cooking skills do not extend to casseroles or anything fancy like that so will probably need instructions too . TIA

put big cut in chicken breast and stuff with boursin .. wrap in bacon .. wrap in silver foil .. shove in oven for 20 mins

are you talking about just cooking with what you've got though? if so .. which veg / spices have you got?

Twiglett · 25/02/2008 17:46

have you got rice or noodles?, garlic? chinese 5 spice? soy sauce?

have you got chicken stock?

popsycal · 25/02/2008 17:54

do you have soy sauce?

I really want to use what I've already got because it is all just bits and pieces and I can't do a big shop until I've cleared out the freezer. Haven't got any of those other things but can get them.

do you have creme fraiche?
paprika?

Lazylou · 25/02/2008 18:06

Er, no . Don't think I have ever made anything with creme fraiche or paprika. See, told you I was a dimwit

do the boursin thing it's really simple and serve it with veg

captainmummy · 25/02/2008 18:10

Make a white sauce (butter, flour, millk/water) and cook the chicken in a pan. Cover with shite sauce, mix in cooked pasta. Crumble crisps oiver the top and bake until top crispy.
serve with veg.

captainmummy · 25/02/2008 18:10

cover with white sauce - oops

Lazylou · 25/02/2008 18:15

lol Captainmummy! I was scan reading and didn't even see the typo. lolol . Mind you, by the time I've finished with it, it probably would be shite sauce.

Can I eat Boursin if pg? I don't get the cheese thing so tend to avoid it if its not cheddar
