Pollack, grilled with sea salt and cracked black pepper. Squirt on the juice of half a lime.

Gorgeous! And all because I couldn't fin the lemon juice and forgot lemons!

Sounds delicious - and simple! Will definitely try it. Have used limes instead of lemons in desserts, but never with fish.

It was really really fresh and juicy tasting - and slightly sweet, which was nice. I had it with noodles.

I LOVE lime on fish Colditz, I always buy a couple with the weeks shopping, yum.

I used to do something similar with lime and cayenne pepper was really nice.

There must be a thing with me about lime and fish thinking about it. Each time I have been pregnant the main craving was mackerel and lime - used to get through a minimum of 5 tins of mackerel with the juice of a lime or two on each one every day

It's traditional sailor food, isn't it! I personally think it complements the fish much better than lemon, but then I have always preferred lime to lemon.
