I reckon a potato and kale/spring greens soup would be nice

or even a spicy cabbagey soup

miso soup with chillies and kale is lovely and light, takes about 5 minutes to make.

Sredded kale put in stew for the last five minutes is nice. I prefer it steamed on its own though.

bit of a waste to use it in a soup imo but you can stick anything in a soup

nice with chicken stock
or potato kale and chorizo is yum

shred kale and put in pan with
1 bunch chopped coriander
1 bunch chopped parsley
1 diced potato
1 lemon juice
6 whole garlic cloves
salt pepper and cumin

add 2 pints water and cover

cook 20mn and when ready, remove garlic, mash and return to pan. Stir. Rectify seasoning.

This is a very tasty cleansing soup. Don't add potato if you want full detox potential.

thank you slim!

i made it with the kale, broccoli, cauli, onion, garlic, chicken stock and one small potato and a parmesan rind

it was delish ,although the Dcs were not impressed

am going to make it again with teh coriander,as i love the stuff

was most impressed,it was sooo cheap aswell!

I'm really pleased you enjoyed it!!
This is one of my earliest memories. Sitting in my gran's kitchen and eating this with my my grandfather. Was maybe 3 or 4.
I recreated it from scratch a few years ago as my mum had no idea what I was talking about!!
Glad it lives on
