Brownies recipe wanted please.

I had a silly disagreement with a good friend last week. I was in the wrong, and although it's all done and dusted, I want to make her some chocolate brownies because they're her favourite.

I need a foolproof recipe - I don't like brownies, so I won't be tasting them as I go along - I'm relying totally on a good recipe.

These are gorgeous - Nigella Lawson. Ignore anyone who comes on and tells you they are undercooked - they form up as they cool and are like litte pieces of heaven. How can you not like Brownies - is it a texture thing?

Thanks, both. Off to Sainsbury's now for ingredients. Hassled - it's not the texture. I'm one of these odd people that don't like cake or chocolate. I do however love crisps, cheese, nuts and anything savoury (just in case you're imagining that I am sylph-like!)
