my dh had some of this when out last week and I'd love to make him some - traybakes aren't really my thing so don't want to just 'try'
anyone got a receipe for one or anyone with more skill than me prepared to try and guess at one?!?

dizzydixies · 19/02/2008 12:37

will be this afternoons activity with dd1
seeing as tried to make the red velvet cupcakes from other post on sat and it took me HOURS to clean kitchen AND I never seem to manage to make pretty wee cupcakes, they always end up as more muffins, surely not even I can go wrong with this?!?

Hiya i have just attempted to make this!

is the mixture meant to go into a 'dough like' texture? From reading the receipe I thought you should be able to pour it, mine just went into one big ball. think I may have overmelted the choclate!

It's in the fridge now chilling!
Anyone know?

geri2 - mine was more of a big sticky ball I had to mush down into tin, still tasted brilliant though lol

is it the same recipe from 'Express'?

MascaraOHara · 13/03/2008 12:18

can I use a baking tray? is that the same as a swiss roll tin?

dizzydixies · 13/03/2008 12:23

yes to baking tin, will just be a bit thinner but you can always balance it on the top a bit as it only has to go in the fridge it doens't need to be baked or anything lol

am not sure sirDigby I just asked on here a few weeks ago and got this link - I have both the feast and express book but haven't noticed it

great name btw!

Ahh dizzy,
thanks for that - was thinking it must've been just me lol think I should have put in more malteser's. Jury still out not sure if I'd make it again - think I'd prefer rice krispie cakes lol. Mind u saying that I prob would give it one more go with cadburys choc and more malteser's!!

MarsLady · 13/03/2008 14:31

I can see you you know Overrun!

Overrun · 13/03/2008 22:14

lol Mars

Still feel that every time I go on the multiple thread I am whinging about something and as I don't have time to read back through posts, I feel like some one gate crashing a party. Or worse some one moaning about petty concerns completely oblivious to the fact that some one else is upset

MarsLady · 14/03/2008 02:09

Don't be daft woman! [rasp!!!!!!!!!!!!]

Overrun · 14/03/2008 08:55

I am very daft I am afraid
