Make chocolate rice krispie cakes?

It's ages since I've done them - what do you have to add to the melted chocolate, just syrup?!

I think there's maybe a bit of butter [hopeless] (I'm just trying to make you feel less inadequate).

I wouldn't add anything, cherry's woul be nice though. Just melt the chocolate in a bowl above some boiling water, add the rice crispies and mix. Chocolate already has sugar in it so you really don't need any syrup.

this is the easiest and most scrummy recipe by far!

marshmallows are a good addition to the chocolate.

Thanks all - some recipes add butter and some do not, some add syrup and some do not - hence my confusion!

Good dark chocolate and some lovely unsalted butter melted together is the luxury version.

Cocoa and golden syrup the basic version.

Make up anything you think sounds good in between .
