Cheap FREE RANGE chicken in Morrisons.

got 750g of legs and thighs for £3. Looks cheap to me! And a smallish whole chicken is about £5.

M & s do 4 chicken legs and 3 thighs for less than £4

There is about that in the packet, actually.

I'm crap at maths. Wouldn't know 750g if it hit me in the face. What do you think they did with the rest of the chuck?

They made free range chicken breasts, and the rest went for free range nuggets.

i always buy organic legs and thighs as it's so much cheaper than breast and more interesting to eat/cook with....

Do you know, I don't think they exist! They should exist, shouldn't they! There is a gap in the market there!

iceland were the only supermarket to sell organic veg at the same price as the non organic. It flopped, badly, because the usual Iceland customers saw the 'Organic' - decided organic means 'Expensive' and stopped buying it!

That sounds about right. I just don't like eating frozen stuff. It reminds me of being a kid, we never had fresh food, just cans and frozen pizza and stuff from Iceland. Sad isn't it?
