I have some leftover turkey defrosted and I quite fancy making a curry but I'd usually use a jar of curry paste and I don't have one in!

I've got some generic 'curry' powder, turmeric, garam masala (that's about it for spices) and some creamed coconut sachets, double cream and a bit of plain yoghurt.

What shall I do??!!

Have you got any garlic/onions?

Fry them together till soft then add curry powder, salt and pepper, turmeric if the curry powder isn't already yello enough, then chuck in the turkey

If you've got a bit of lemon I'd squeeze that in too, then add the coconut cream. See what the taste/texture is like before you add any double cream, as you may make it too rich as well as too bland IYSWIM.

If you've got tinned tomatoes and any other veg (potatoes, peas, cauliflower) they would make a good addition too!

Perfect. Got most of that so I'll see how it goes! Thanks very much.
