Does this sound nice?

I'm on a diet and find the weight watchers desserts boring so was thinking of making a substitute trifle of my own. It goes like this:

Sugar free jelly on the bottom

Low-fat custard in the middle

Low fat natural yoghurt on the top

Can't imagine how it will taste. Should I make it? Yay or nay?

Personally - I don't think yoghurt and custard go. I would just have the jelly and custard

TheHonEnid · 11/02/2008 12:33

sounds disgusting

have an apple or a piece of chocolate instead

TheHonEnid · 11/02/2008 12:33

low fat food makes you fat

MamaG · 11/02/2008 12:34

sounds a bit grim!

fishie · 11/02/2008 12:35

agree. poisonous too. have a spoonful of cooked fruit in the yog.

Meringue is what you want if counting points, use the low fat custard with it, or the best way IMO is tinned strawberries and low fat yougurt. Really gorgeous for not many points

I use to have meringue, low fat yougurt and fresh fruit - eton mess, it was lovely - keep up the good work.

suzywong · 11/02/2008 13:21

sounds vile why not just have one super duper chocolate and savour it.

sugar free jelly is the devil's work, surely

LolaTheShowgirl · 11/02/2008 14:51

You are all so funny! You're right...it does sound vile but couldn't think of anything else for my desserts! Suwoo, you are a star! That is it! [said like a mad professor] Meringue it shall be!
