Anyone got a good small cake recipe ... they need to last a few days

Dh is going away on Sunday for a week. I wanted to bake some small heart shape cakes for the 14th - I know very tacky So I need a recipe for small cakes that'll last a few days. I'll need to make them Saturday and they won't be eaten until Thursday.

Any ideas?

Why don't you do biscuits, they'll last longer? Could do any recipe, really, just cut with heart shaped cutter

or heart shaped mini flapjacks!

Yes perhaps that's a better idea. Now my flapkacks are either too soggy and crumble or a bit hard!!
