i tried to thicken my gravy with flour and it didn't work

so what did i do wrong - all the flour went to the top in nice big lumps

i added hot gravy to the flour and made into a paste before i put it into the pan

any tips?

jenn.. i bought some nytol today. and the pharmacist told me it was on teh red list, and i could not buy another box next week ! i thought it was herbal????

obviously, i realise now that it isn;t, but i was taken aback!

Yeah it's not something you want to take long term. Get yourself back into the sleeping pattern then stop. It's an antihistamine like medised...also on the red list.

We had left overs in stir fry on Wednesday and soup from stock made with bones today for lunch.

i also like to get my money's worth from a chicken !!

i shall be careful with my crack / nytol!
