Hi

Usually I do turkey in a spicy sauce but today I've got to do it in some sort of white or cheese sauce. Does this work?
Also any veg in it have to be left big so they can be fished out by my dp who in preparation for hospital has been told - eat no vegetables for the rest of this week.

I'm sorry but that sounds really horrible .. I don't think white sauce goes with turkey .. unless you're doing some kind of pie I suppose a la chicken and mushroom but with turkey?

I agree it doesn't sound good. Its just that turkey is so dry I thought a sauce would be ok.
If I did a turkey and mushroom pie - what is the usual sauce and what goes on top?

I have a recipe for yum yum chicken and chicken with apricot jam and mango chutney. Both are really easy to make, delicious and I don't see why they wouldn't work with turkey.

YUK!

I can't use fruit - dp has to have a very restrictive diet this week - but thanks anyway.
Chicken and mushroom pie - is that not in a white sauce? Would it matter if I substituted turkey?
As all our dinners are usually tomato based I am totally at sea here.

It has onion and tomato in. Are they allowed? Can give recipe if any good.

how about something like this

That looks eatable- CD - Dp only has a restricted diet for 4 days I really feel for people who have this all the time.
