Ok mine isn't a smeg but sometimes there's a little hand symbol on the digital thingy and I need to turn that off so that it works. There's a button with a hand thingy on it too, that seems to do the trick.

I don't have instructions for my cooker either. Very frustrating. I can use only one setting.

My smeg oven doesn't work if the clock isn't set.

I would switch it off at the plug. Turn it on again and reset the clock by holding down the clock button until it stops flashign and then use the +/- keys to set the time.

Ditto hand sign/timer
Bad design all round.

My smeg oven is sh*te.

It looks lovely, but the thermostat doesn't seem to work properly and the grill and oven heat really unevenly.
