I really fancy making these but haven't a clue really. I know the basic idea is to bash the pork chops and coat in egg and breadcrumbs but do any of you know of a proper recipe for them?

I buy pork escalopes so you don't need to bother bashing them up really (unless you would enjoy doing that), dip them in egg then in breadcrumbs (which I make by 'liquidising' frozen bread crusts). Fry for about 15 mins, turning once.

I serve these with tagliatelle and this sauce:
Fry sliced red and yellow pepper for 3 mins, add a tsp of paprika and some passata (sieved tomatoes, you can buy it in cartons or bottles), simmer for 10 mins.

Don't think you need special recipe. I do same as Taffy but I coat them in seasoned (sometimes spiced) flour first before egg.

Thanks guys. I did them tonight and they were delicious - even ds2 ate them and he never eats anything (except sausages )
