baby napping till 4 - solids or milk

ds is napping just now. had his lunch prob at 12 ish, will hopefully sleep till 4. Should I give milk when he wakes or solids? he's 9 mo. He usually takes 4 or 5 oz if he's awake at 3 ish.

When does he normally have supper?

I'd also see whether he seems hungry when he wakes up.

Did you realise that by posting this he'll probably wake up straight away?!!

Every kid's different as my 2 have proven!

When DD was little she used to want milk after missing a feed due to nap simply because it was quicker to down in one iykwim .

DS, 12 weeks and already started on solids, I know... naughty naughty , actually prefers solids when he's 'starved'

I know - I am taking a BIG chance posting this. Although it would stop me surfing on mn and go and do some housework before the in laws arrive.

Did he wake up yet?

still sleeping - just going to go up and wake him before it gets dark and he thinks its night.
Have let him slep as he has been up since 7 with no morning nap.
Heres hoping he's not grumpy!

woke fine - a lit grump - but then gave him 4 oz of milk. Heres hoping he'll eat his eggy bread now. if not i'll just have to eat it for him - hee hee
