Chippy chips - great I thought. Just gone to put them in the oven and they are for deep/shallow frying. Will they be okay in the oven? (Have put them in so hoping so.)

Don't think so......

Can you make your own?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 30/01/2008 18:50

They will take longer and won't be as nice, but yes you can cook them in the oven.

Another few minutes wouldn't have hurt but they were okay.

Thanks.

Oh well - at least yuo know it works!

Did they taste like chip shop chips btw?

NAB3wishesfor2008 · 31/01/2008 07:54

Not really. Chip shop chips always seem really soft and I don't think any frozen chips are ever going to be like them. Happy to be proved wrong though...
