I want to make 5 large pizza bases, how many batches of dough would i need do you think? Do i need to use strong flour or would normal plain flour do? TIA

Use bread flour, but olive oil instead of butter. Also add some semolina if you have some. Don't know quantities though, sorry!

Ok thanks policywonk, when the dough comes out of the bread maker is it ready to be rolled out then or does it need further rising etc.? You can tell i have never made this before!

Psychobabble, it's a Prima Home Bakery, makes a standard size loaf i think. It has a dough setting which i have never used, i am guessing it gets the dough to the stage where it is ready to be turned into a pizza? Would appreciate a recipe, thanks!

for one batch dough i use:

140 ml water
3 tsp olive oil
225 g strong white bread flour
1 tsp salt
half tsp sugar
half tsp yeast
ut on dough setting and when that has finished you can roll out, spread on toppings and bake at 220 c for approx 18 minutes.

tastes fab.
