AFAIK it's like cod

hifi · 25/01/2008 17:29

havent ate any myself but its supposed to be the new cod, more sustainable.

sophy · 25/01/2008 17:30

Yep - I bought some in Sainsbury's the other day. It's great. Treat as you would cod, but pollack is much more sustainable. And cheaper.

There made from pollack!

lailasmum · 25/01/2008 17:33

sometimes if you buy frozen pollock its a bit spongey but other than that its like cod. But is better fresh

colditz · 25/01/2008 18:02

well I have just had the most delicious low fat meal of my life, it really was stunning.

I sprayed some chopped new potatoes with Frylight, and baked them like wedges, then I poached the pollack in a pan with a lid, served them with steamed broccoli and rough chopped carrots, with sea salt, cracked black pepper, and garlic and herb low fat soft cheese!
