Its our 7th wedding anniversary next month and as money is tight, I want to cook a special meal at home instead of going out.

So hit me with your best romantic menus please....starter, main course and puds

We like most food, no curries tho for dh.
He's a typical man and likes his meat and he's a custard king so would like a pud that will go with his beloved custard.

Not too worried about budget as its still cheaper than going out.

I always pop to Waitrose and see what they've got in their fine dining range. I know it's cheating, but it means he gets a restuarant quality meal and I just get to shove lots of tins in an oven. Sorry for being such a philistine! Hope you have a luverly meal.

i always make fillet steak, chips and pepper sauce for my dh

he loves it!

I was thinking of a nice steak as I haven't bought steak for him for ages. Haven't made pepper sauce before tho.

toffee pud looks gorgeous, might look for a recipe to do my own.

As for waitrose, I don't have one anywhere near me.

I'm going to make him a jar of homemade lemon curd as well as its one of his favs.

Oh and can anyone reccomend a good, reasonably price bottle of bubbly
