What is your most used cookbook this year?

With my birthday and Christmas on the horizon its time for my annual cookbook wish list update! I buy quite a few but hoping for some gems i might have missed. We eat pretty much all types of food but my preference is for middle Eastern and Asian food.
I'll start with my most used books this year;

Ooo this is right up my street. I’m big Diana Henry and Anna Jones fans so cook lots from their books.

I have a 10 week old baby so haven’t done lots since he arrived but I have done quite a few from Dominique kitchen which have been great.

Other favourites are East by Meera Sodha and A to Z of pasta by Rachel Roddy.

Betty Crocker (I love the quick and easy recipes)
My mum's M &S cookery books from the 70s and 80s, I inherited them last year, and I love the little side notes she added to the recipes, makes me feel very close to her!

In terms of this specific year, Mezcla (as posters on the new weekly recipe thread know too well!) Ixta is an Ottolenghi protege and haven't had a bad recipe yet.

more generally, ottolenghi's Jerusalem and Flavour, Diana H's A bird in the hand, Meera's three books, Moro are probably my frequent go to's

Jerusalem is my all time favourite cookbook I love everything about it. In fact I might make the tahini cookies today!

Jerusalem is great. Perfect when you need something special. I don’t use recipes for making every day dinners.

Anything by Anja Dunk - it's German influenced recipes. Everything is delicious. Her Christmas one is really nice and I use it at lot during winter but her strudel, noodles and dumplings book is amazing. Don't let the title put you off - it's not just heavy carb based meals. She does a merguez sausage, red pepper and butter bean on toast dish that is to die for, and her potato soup is what dreams are made of.

I love reading cookery books but I always go back to my mother’s 1949 Good Housekeeping cook book, and any and all of the WI cookbooks.

@SummaLuvin thank you I'll check it out! I do dip in and out of reading the threads but for some reason find long threads hard to keep up with.
@Olivetreebutter we are family happy to embrace carbs haha unfortunately it shows on my waistline! I'll check that book out as I love some of the things you mentioned.

Here it does look daunting now it has almost 200 replies. But there are only about 4 of us who post every week with others who dip in and out. I love this thread as it keeps me accountable to trying at least one new thing a week rather than getting stuck in a rut, and I have found amazing recipes because of it. Most people write a short review of the recipe they try, and post a link if it’s online, which is helpful to see what is worth trying out or not, and also find new things to give a go.

I haven't got it, but on my wish list is 30 minute Mowgli by Nisha Catona.

For easy midweek cooking, the Slimming Foodie cookbooks are very good. Despite the name suggesting dieting, they are proper food with from scratch flavourings (unlike e.g. Pinch of Nom who tend to use ready mixed spice mixes etc) and she has some very good, unusual flavour combinations.

Pasta Evangelists - Perfect Pasta. Brilliant for me!

Mowgli Street Food - I use this a LOT, especially the dahl.

Dishoom - I make a huge pot of the tomato chilli jam every month. It's amazing on bacon and egg butties.

Kwoklyn Wan - Chinese Takeaway Cook book. Saving me a fortune on Chinese takeaways - genuinely brilliant food.
