Googled it, and your post came first, but the next one was this post, so I've copied and pasted for you.

I came across a Nigel Slater recipe in a magazine supplement. It was for quick and delicious puds. His sticky toffee pudding one is certainly quick and certainly impresses those who have tasted it. Instead of starting from scratch. Use 2 McVities ginger cakes, slice each into 8 pieces and lay in a dish. Make sticky toffee sauce using brown sugar, Lyle's syrup, butter and double cream and pour over cake. Heat slowly in oven until sauce is bubbling and soaked into cake. Not for the connoisseur, but if you want quick, delicious, stick to your ribs pud - then try this.

Thanks newyorkdolls, any idea on proportions?

I think I found that same page but because it didn't have measures didn't want to guess.

Hi - I've just uploaded a recipe for sticky toffee pudding over on our own blog - purple13.blogspot.com

It's a transcript from a local community magazine i do the website for here in Derbyshire, and the recipes come from a local dining room's head chef.

I can almost smell the toffee aroma now.

There's ingredients, method etc all listed.

Have fun trying it.

Jonathan
