Is my Shepherds pie too old?

I made Shepherds pie on Friday (cooked meat (30+mins and mash) but didn't put it in the oven. Do you think it will still be okay to eat tonight? (it's been in the fridge)

Thanks.

If it looks/smells ok, I would.

hellish · 21/01/2008 14:06

Thanks Huw, I am normally quite 'liberal' with that kind of thing. Kept meaning to eat it all weekend but we were too busy for a 'proper' meal

I'd say today is it's last chance (I'm fairly liberal with this kind of thing too).

SoupDragon · 21/01/2008 14:07

its its no apostrophe!! [aagh]

Chopster · 21/01/2008 14:10

I would eat it.

soupdragon Wasn't there supposed to be an apostrophe, as in possession?

SoupDragon · 21/01/2008 14:14

Not with "its". the apostrophe only goes in when "its" is short for "it is". I think it's that way round anyway.

hellish · 21/01/2008 14:21

Thanks - Soup Dragon you are right about its, but was I right about Shepherds? or should it have been Shepherd's or even Shepherds'???

Chopster · 21/01/2008 14:22

omg, how many times ahve I written 'it's' when I shouldn't have!

SoupDragon · 21/01/2008 14:28

I think Shepherd's. Although Shepherds' probably isn't incorrect as such

there there. I'm sh*te at grammar generally!
