Chicken and mash cakes?

If I have leftover chicken and leftover mash, can I make something skin to fishcakes but obv with chicken instead? Am trying to reduce my food waste!

but why not mix the chicken with some condensed cream of mushroom soup and a can of sweetcorn and some sauted finely choppd onions and top with the potatoes and do a chicken pot pie thing and heat it through in the oven
