How big is a pub measure for spirits ???

I can't believe I'll have to wait too long for a reply to this one

I have a measure that has a 2cl and a 4cl cup. I am assuming the 2cl is a standard pub measure and the 4cl is a double. Am i correct ???

thought it was 25ml

Pub measure = 25ml

Or occasionally 35ml...

2cl is 20ml.

So, that'll be an answer in under 30 seconds.

oh for goodness sake, why is nothing ever simple............
why on earth do they sell measures in 2cl (20ml) if a pub measure is 25ml.
