I had one once - it was heavenly - all melty and mmmmmmmm. You need to eat them almost immediately after they've been cooked or the batter goes weird.

I had one once in a Leeds chipy.

We had one full sized one between 3 of us, which was about right.

It was surprisingly good. It tasted less sickly sweet and more burnt-sugar caremelised than an uncooked Mars Bar. I think the secret is cooking it for exactly the right amount of time so that the mars bar still has it's layers and doesn't deteriorate into a runny mess. Ours wasn't a runny mess, I don't think.

I had one once, it tasted great, but mouth felt covered in grease for the rest of the day. Tried a deep fried bounty bar too, but it wasn't as good.

Nigella did deep fries bounties with slices of fresh pineapple. I think that's the posh version.
