Really over cooked rice - to bin or not to bin?

Its like rice soup. Do I have to bin it or can I make it into anything remotely eatable? I over did the quantities a bit as well, so there's stacks of it

make rice soup with it ?!

Rinse thoroughly in cold water. Drain. Spread thinly onto baking sheets. Leave to cool and dry then either warm in gentle oven or make egg fried rice.

Rice Bake?

Grate a courgette and saute with chopped onion and garlic. Add it to rice, with enough oats to stiffen it up. Add a beaten egg and some grated cheese, chuck it in a greased dish, sprinkle more grated cheese on top, and bake for 45 mins ish on Gas 7.

Very nice with new potatoes and green veg.

You want more like three courgettes though actually.

Ah, I knew mn would know the answer. I was wondering how I could dispose of it without dh realising. Bit difficult given that the dogs are already too fat, and dd has eaten as much as she can already (better than the uncooked rice she was eating earlier I guess). DH would have found it hilarious, and I'd never hear the end of it. Now I can pretend it was all part of the plan .
