You could whiz it up for soup if you put some of the stock in to moisten it, or maybe some cream or something. You could even use water.

well ive made the stock for dd, so was thinking of adding stockcubes to the left overs for me and make some soup

mash it up with potato for stealth vegetable mash

spottyzebra · 16/01/2008 10:48

what and serve it with as a mash type dish?
yeah that could work well as we are having chicken for tea

i'd chuck them, they'll be totally overcooked.

I also would chuck them away. They have lost almost all nutritional value, and the texture...bleurg.

well i did the first idea, strained off the stock for dd.

then made up some stock with a cube, put that into the veggies simmered it all together for a few mins, then used the hand blender to liquised it all and have just had it for lunch

i thought it was bloody lovely!
although i do have exremely low standards
