How long to cook lamb

I dont know what bit of lamb it is but it weighs 1102g. I dont like any pink in it, How long will it take in the oven and what gas mark? Also do I need to put any thing on it?

does it have a bone in it?

yes but its not like a full leg, its about 3 inches long

20 minutes 'sizzle' at 220, then turn the oven down to 160ish and cook for 15 minutes longer per 500g, ie another 30 minutes. Then (VERY IMPORTANT) rest for at least half an hour before you eat it.
Rest the lamb, that is, not yourself.
