Fish pie
1.5 lbs cod fillet
1oz butter
1oz flour
0.5 pt milk or fish liquor
carrot
mushrooms
white wine
onion
peppercorms
peas or frozen veg
chopped parsley
lemon juice
creamed potatoes
2oz cheese
tartare sauce to serve
Poach fish + mushrooms, carrot, peppercorns, parsley and bayleaf, onion and squeeze lemon in a casserole half covered with water or milk and water with wine if desired for 25 mins at 350F.
Make white sauce with flour, butter and fish liquor.and add cheese
Remove fish from oven. Flacke fish into bottom of oven proof dish.and mix with peas and sauce.
Pu potatoes on top.
Bake until crispy.
