A green salad with balsamic and walnut oil dressing. They go really well together.

Crusty bread
Roasted tomatoes w balsamic vinegar

If it's hot, we tend to have it with baked beans and potato of some sort.
If it's cold, we go for salad and maybe a jacket spud or potato salad.

couscous with roasted veg in

janeite · 12/01/2008 12:18

If it's cold, homemade baked beans and baked potatoes

Warm - new potatoes and salad

Having said that, neither of the girls will eat quiche in any form!

Oh yes, cold quiche is vile - but every time we go to mil's she buys me a quiche (she's quite old and can't cope with veggieness) and then serves it cold. I have to hide it under the rest of my food or shove it over to dp when she's not looking.
